(Materials)

Every wood species has its own grain, hardness and way of ageing. We choose the material according to the purpose, surroundings and desired character of each piece.

(Ash)

Ash combines hardness and strength with exceptional flexibility and is considered one of the most flexible native woods. Its pronounced growth rings range from light cream to grey-brown, giving every piece a lively grain.

(Oak)

Dub je tvrdý, pevný, houževnatý a mimořádně trvanlivý. Díky obsahu tříslovin dobře odolává vlhkosti, hnilobě a škůdcům. Jeho hnědé jádro doplňují charakteristická zrcátka a dřevo s věkem přirozeně tmavne do bohatších tónů.

(Pine)

Pine is a softer wood with good strength relative to its low weight. Its yellowish to reddish tones darken over time, while pronounced growth rings and frequent knots create a rustic character. It is more susceptible to scratches and dents than hardwoods.

(Spruce)

Spruce is a relatively flexible and soft wood. Its pale colour has a pinkish or yellowish tint and a clear growth-ring pattern, giving it a natural, lightweight appearance.

(Larch)

Larch is among the most durable softwoods. Its high resin content provides natural resistance to moisture, decay, mould and pests, making it suitable for outdoor use. Its pinkish to reddish-brown grain gradually develops a silver-grey patina.
